VP / SVP, Enterprise AI, Innovation & Transformation
Location: Remote US/Canada/UK
Job Summary
The VP / SVP, Enterprise AI, Innovation & Transformation owns the conversion of OPEN Health’s AI and technology investments into measurable enterprise value. The role moves AI and technology-enabled ways of working beyond experimentation and into adoption, commercial growth, and operational simplification at scale. Partnering with the CTO, this leader connects emerging technology capabilities, AI-enabled solutions, and innovation programs to enterprise outcomes, and is held accountable for the value those investments realize across the business. The breadth of accountability and the seniority at which the role operates scale with the level at which it is filled.
OPEN Health has established a strong AI technology enablement strategy and is actively developing AI-enabled capabilities and agents across the organization. As these capabilities evolve, the organization must ensure they are validated against real business needs, integrated into scalable offerings, adopted across the enterprise, and governed responsibly. This role leads that activation. It identifies and solves the highest-value capability gaps, mobilizes Tech Enablement resources and targeted investment to develop new solutions, and ensures successful pilots transition into scalable, adopted enterprise and product initiatives.
This role carries primary accountability for organizational adoption, change management, and the realization of value from AI investments. It serves as the central coordination point for AI, innovation, data, and transformation initiatives, bridging Technology, Operations, Commercial, People, and Practice teams and operating a federated model that balances centralized governance with local innovation. The scope is enterprise-wide, and the authority to set direction, prioritize investment, and hold distributed teams to a common standard sits with this role in partnership with the CTO. At the SVP level, the role operates with the fullest measure of this authority and as a senior enterprise leader in its own right.
The role also operates at the intersection of innovation and commercial opportunity. It works closely with Commercial and Practice leadership to shape differentiated offerings, validate real client demand, and bring technology-enabled products and services to market.
This leader partners with the CTO to maintain executive alignment around innovation priorities and the company’s AI transformation strategy, ensuring investments are targeted, measurable, and aligned with enterprise goals. The CTO delegates day-to-day ownership of enterprise AI adoption, literacy, use-case prioritization, and the operationalization of governance to this role.
This is not primarily a technical engineering role. Product Delivery retains ownership of product roadmaps and execution across existing solutions, Solution Architecture maintains authority over technical design and architecture decisions, and Data & Analytics owns data strategy and the data capability. Success is measured by the adoption, governance, and business value realized from AI and technology-enabled transformation across the enterprise, and by how effectively that transformation is reflected in OPEN Health’s externally facing product and service offerings.

- Monitor AI risk, adoption barriers, and organizational readiness across the enterprise.
Executive Alignment & Strategic Coordination
- Partner with the CTO to maintain alignment across the executive leadership team regarding innovation priorities and AI transformation initiatives.
- Provide structured updates on innovation pipeline progress, pilot outcomes, and strategic impact to executive leadership.
- Ensure innovation investments are targeted toward initiatives with measurable enterprise value, and make the case for reallocation when they are not.
- Support the ongoing evolution of the company’s AI transformation strategy.
