Senior Statistical Analyst/Associate Statistical Consultant – Modeling and Meta-Analysis
Location: Remote or Hybrid -NL OR UK
Job Summary:
As a Senior Statistical Analyst/Associate Statistical Consultant at OPEN Health, you are an essential contributor to our Modeling and Meta-Analysis team, working across various HEOR projects, which may include indirect treatment comparisons, trial data analysis, and health economic modelling. You are proactive, responsive, and able to balance shifting priorities to ensure promises are kept and expectations are exceeded. You will have responsibility for delivering high-quality outputs and ownership of specific project components, deliverables, and timelines. You will support project leads in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary, international organization. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Conducting relevant trial data analysis and/or evidence synthesis projects, including:

- Bayesian network meta-analysis, including non-proportional hazard methods and meta-regression
- Population-adjusted indirect treatment comparisons, including matching-adjusted indirect comparison, simulated treatment comparison, and multi-level network meta-regression
- Survival analysis, including flexible and innovative methods not limited to landmark survival analysis and methods for incorporating external data
- Utility analysis to inform health economic models
- Bespoke statistical modelling of clinical trial patient level data to inform health economic models
- Analysis of surrogate endpoints
- Developing project reports, analysis plans, and other deliverables under guidance of senior team members
- Helping to ensure timely delivery of project subcomponents by proactively flagging changes to scope and timelines
- Supporting and/or leading client interactions and outreach to ensure client satisfaction
- Assisting and/or leading with requests for proposals and supporting growth of the business through the development of strong client relationships
- Effectively managing relationships within OPEN Health and with external stakeholders
- Supporting the development of, implementation, and maintenance of internal processes and quality standards
- Keeping up to date on statistical innovations relevant to healthcare and supporting internal knowledge sharing
- Disseminating and integrating new methods into the business
- Contributing to thought leadership and publications
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
- Master’s Degree or PhD in statistics, mathematics, or a closely related field
- Strong programming skills in R; experience with building packages, RMarkdown, Shiny, version control, and STAN or equivalent MCMC software would be an advantage
- Experience in the field of HEOR is considered an advantage, though not required — particularly hands-on involvement in trial data analysis and/or evidence synthesis, as well as familiarity with how such analyses support health economic modelling, reimbursement dossiers, and health technology assessment submissions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex methods to technical and non-technical audiences, and question the status quo
- Able to manage competing deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset, but also able to work independently
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
