Senior Scientist – Strategic Market Access – United States 

Job Summary:

Our Senior Scientist, Strategic Market Access (SMA) will lead a range of evidence generation projects that support OPEN Health clients who positively impact science and patient well-being.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and leading rapid, targeted, and systematic literature reviews, including human and AI-supported approaches
  • Overseeing protocols, as well as other project deliverables, including screening and data extraction files, reports, manuscripts, and conference proceedings
  • Synthesizing data from multiple sources using creative and innovative approaches
  • Providing scientific leadership across multiple projects, ensuring scientific rigor, methodological integrity, and alignment with client objectives
  • Mentoring and guiding analysts, fostering a collaborative team culture, and contributing to the ongoing development of best practices

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Relevant experience working in HEOR and market access in the pharmaceutical industry or consulting
  • Master’s degree or doctorate in health policy, public health, health services research, health administration, health economics, or any other related sciences
  • In-depth knowledge of structure and function of healthcare environments including market access and reimbursement profiles for given countries or regions as well as knowledge about evidentiary needs
  • Proven track record of effective and highly organized project management from conception through to delivery
  • Superior communication skills and the ability to question the status quo
  • Ability to forge and effectively manage relationships within OPEN Health and external stakeholders
  • Self-starter who enjoys working in a dynamic, collaborative environment to continuously evolve the strength of the organization’s offerings and services
  • Proactive, responsive, and able to balance shifting priorities and ensure that promises are kept and expectations are exceeded
  • Proficiency in AI-supported methods, including DistillerSR and Nested Knowledge

Travel Requirements 

  • International and domestic as required for team and client meetings/conferences as required by business needs
