Senior Research Consultant - Strategic Market Access

Remote/Hybrid Role - Berlin, Germany

 

Job Summary:

Our Senior Research Consultant, Strategic Market Access, is an essential contributor to our team.  They enjoy working across various projects with responsibility for delivering high-quality outputs. They lead projects in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary, global organization, focusing on developing HTA dossiers (e.g., AMNOG, JCA, NICE) and engaging in global market access deliverables. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Developing/leading HTA dossiers for G-BA, EU JCA, NICE and other European countries
  • Conducting/leading HTA landscape assessments and strategy development
  • Conducting/leading evidence synthesis and value communication projects and performing quality control of project deliverables
  • Adhering to project budgets and timelines
  • Leading/supporting client interactions and outreach to ensure client satisfaction
  • Leading/supporting with requests for proposals and supporting the growth of the business, with a focus on Germany and European markets, through the development of strong client relationships
  • Development of AMNOG dossier line of business, bringing in at least two AMNOG dossier projects within 12 months
  • Supporting the development of, implementation, and maintenance of internal processes and quality standards
  • Keeping up to date with the latest developments in the field
  • Contributing to thought leadership and publications

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Master's Degree, PhD, or PharmD in any relevant science, such as Pharmacy, Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Health Economics, Health Policy, Epidemiology, Public Health, or Statistics
  • Strong experience within the field of HTA and market access
  • Significant hands-on experience in the development of AMNOG dossiers
  • Experience with leading/contributing to evidence synthesis projects, including systematic and targeted literature reviews
  • Experience with developing value communication projects, such as global value dossiers, value proposition development and testing, objection handlers, payer communication tools
  • Fluency in German and English languages
  • Solid analytical and statistical understanding with keen attention to detail
  • Proactive, responsive, and able to balance shifting priorities to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to budget, ensuring that expectations are exceeded
  • Ability to forge and effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in German and English
  • Team player, but also able to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office programs: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Remote/hybrid – with possibility to work in the Berlin office 

Travel Requirements 

  • 5% potential global travel
