Sr. Project Manager, Growth Enablement (Central Commercial)
Internal title: Sr. Growth Navigator
Location: US Remote
Role Summary
The Project Manager, Growth Enablement (known internally as a Growth Navigator) is the project management backbone for OPEN Health's commercial opportunities, leading the day-to-day planning and execution of assigned proposals.
You own the project plan, timeline, resourcing, and execution on each assigned opportunity from kick-off through delivery. You will partner closely with Global Client Partners, Practice Leadership & Operations, and supporting functions including Commercial Optimization, Client Excellence, Legal & Contracts, Knowledge Management, Creative & Editorial, and Finance. You will always know where a proposal stands, what comes next, and who owns each next step.
You will work in Salesforce and related commercial systems to keep scope and timeline information detailed and accurate so cross-functional operations and reporting stay connected to a single source of truth.
You will bring the same continuous-improvement mindset OPEN Health expects of every team member, using AI tools to work more efficiently, flagging friction in your own workflows, and helping your project teams adopt the templates, playbooks, and systems that Growth Operations build for the organization.
This role is a fit for a highly organized operator who brings calm structure to fast-moving, cross-functional work and wants to help shape how a new commercial operating model scales.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Proposal project management
Serve as the project manager (navigator) on assigned proposals, with priority on enterprise, multi-practice, and expansion opportunities. Own each proposal end-to-end, from triage through outcome and debrief, keeping it on track against the deadline and required gates. Build and maintain proposal timelines, shared workspaces, and resources. Schedule reviews in advance, flag risks to deadlines early, and keep team focused on strategy and solutions rather than logistics. Provide surge support to in-practice navigators when volume or complexity requires it.
Cross-functional coordination and resourcing
Serve as the connector across commercial, practice, and central functions. Route work to Commercial Optimization, Medical Strategy, Digital & Tech Enablement, Legal & Contracts, Knowledge Management, and Creative & Editorial in line with the rules of engagement, and confirm required reviews and approvals are in place before anything reaches the client. Coordinate kickoffs, internal alignment discussions, content reviews, pitch rehearsals, and live debriefs so every team member stays connected to the status and context needed to support the proposal.
Salesforce stewardship and pipeline financial visibility
Own or oversee the Salesforce opportunity record from first signal through close or handoff for delivery, keeping status, dates, and team details accurate. Partner with Finance to ensure opportunity details that affect forecasting, such as value, probability, stage, close date, revenue phasing, and practice split, are captured early and accurately in Salesforce. Flag changes in scope, timing, or value as they happen, and support pipeline hygiene reviews that reconcile Salesforce with practice forecasts.
Proposal insights
Report in-flight insights up to leadership, highlighting wins, escalating points of friction that need mitigation or adjudication, and explaining the why behind proposal outcomes. Conduct formal debrief process to capture debrief learnings and track proposal performance, cycle times, and gate adherence to inform future proposals and process improvements.
Process and ways-of-working improvement
Partner with Growth Operations to refine proposal SOPs, templates, and shared resources. Gather feedback from Commercial and Practice teams, including through 30/60/90-day process reviews, and turn it into practical improvements. Help central and in-practice navigators work from one consistent set of expectations.
Continuous improvement and AI-enabled operations
Own continuous improvement of commercial operating processes with a clear orientation towards automation and friction removal. Develop, deploy, and maintain your own AI agents to improve how proposals run day to day. Cascade AI ways of working to in-practice navigators and proposal teams through demos, quick guides, and peer coaching. Identify recurring manual work in the proposal process, surface automation opportunities, and build AI-enabled solutions, partnering with Growth Operations and contributing to roadmap initiatives.
General commercial growth support
Bring an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset to OPEN Health's broader growth agenda. As capacity allows, proactively partner with Global Client Partners on account-level priorities, including account planning, cross-functional account alignment, client meeting preparation, and organic growth initiatives. Flex to other commercial projects as priorities shift, focusing your time wherever it adds the most value to the business.
