Job Summary

As VP, Head of Solution Architecture, you will define and lead the technical strategy behind our Tech, Data, and AI Ecosystem, ensuring all solutions are scalable, reusable, and aligned to our platform vision.

Your leadership will guide the design of intelligent, efficient solutions that accelerate delivery and drive measurable business outcomes. Internally and externally, you’ll champion architectural excellence and help shape the foundation that powers OPEN Health’s tech-enabled future.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leading the Architecture of Our Tech, Data, and AI Ecosystem
  • Defining and governing the architectural standards, reusable components, and design patterns that support scalable, AI-enabled solutions across the business.
  • Ensuring Technical Consistency and Reuse. Overseeing architecture across major delivery initiatives, promoting modularity, data integration, secure design, and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Partnering across Strategy, Delivery, and Practice Teams. Collaborating with Solution Delivery Leads, Data Leads, and Business Development to translate business needs into robust, scalable technical designs.
  • Driving Innovation and Practical AI Integration.Evaluating and applying modern AI models (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Copilot) within solution workflows powering real-time automation, insight generation, and service differentiation.
  • Accelerating Internal and External Adoption – Supporting the implementation of architectural frameworks in both client-facing solutions and internal workflows. Work across product, client services, and operations to ensure adoption and scale.
  • Owning Business Impact and Revenue Growth – Supporting a revenue target tied to the adoption and expansion of tech-enabled solutions, helping articulate value, drive client engagement, and embed solutions into offerings that differentiate OHG in the market.
  • Governing and Elevating the Development Community.  Leading the distributed developer ecosystem, including internal developers and external partners by defining and enforcing technical standards, architectural integrity, and delivery best practices. While not directly managing every developer, you are responsible for overarching guidance and governance to ensure all development aligns with the broader platform vision. You'll also play a key role in scaling the development team and onboarding new partners aligned to OHG’s modular and AI-enabled technical approach.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7–10 years in solution or enterprise architecture, ideally in healthcare, life sciences, or consulting environments.
  • Expertise in designing modular web applications using frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, Next.js, Node.js, Single Page Applications (SPA), and headless architecture models.
  • Strong working knowledge of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices, including Azure and AWS.
  • Strong experience with data platforms and reporting tools such as Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
  • Deep working knowledge of modern AI tooling, including Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI (e.g., GPT-4, ChatGPT APIs), Claude, and other LLM-based tools.
  • Experience integrating AI models into operational and client-facing workflows.
  • Proven ability to design and govern cloud-native architectures with APIs, microservices, and secure integration.
  • Experience leading architecture across matrixed organizations and vendor ecosystems.
  • Strong business orientation with experience supporting commercial efforts or owning revenue accountability.
  • Experience with setup, configuration, and/or custom integrations of enterprise platforms such as: SAP, SAP ByDesign, Salesforce, SuccessFactors is a plus.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards in regulated industries (GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, etc.) is preferred.
