HR Operations Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced People Systems & Operations Manager to lead our people operations function globally. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth delivery of people processes across the entire employee life cycle, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement as well as optimizing our people experience through leading on strategic people initiatives linked to operational process improvement.

In addition, this role will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAP SuccessFactors which is the primary HCM system.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the people Operations team, ensuring high performance, continuous development, and effective service delivery on all processes across the employee lifecycle.
  • Oversee the administration of the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, contracts, and employee records.
  • Act as the system owner for SAP SuccessFactors, ensuring optimal configuration, data integrity, and user adoption.
  • Act as primary point of contact with service partner for system issue resolution and management of agreed annual support hours
  • Owns business change requests (process improvement or system configuration), working collaboratively with process owners, IT, and service partner (where applicable)
  • Collaborate with People Business Partners and IT and other stakeholders to streamline and improve People processes and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, data protection regulations, and internal policies.
  • Manage people reporting and analytics, providing insights to support decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across People operations, leveraging technology and best practices.
  • Maintains picklists & data, via data imports & purges
  • Manages Position framework & maintains corporate structures including workflow/DoA
  • Defines & maintains role-based permissions for user/reporting access
  • Conducts data health checks & supports bulk data changes
  • Support payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Lead or contribute to people projects, including system upgrades, process automation, and policy and process reviews.

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in a similar People/HR operations or shared services role, ideally within a medium to large organization with a global reach.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors in an operations environment (Employee Central and other modules preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and developing teams.
  • Experience of working with and development of People processes, employment law, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
