Editorial Assistant
Reports to Senior/Principal Editorial Coordinator/Editorial Manager

Job Summary
Working under the supervision of senior colleagues, providing high-quality editorial and administrative support across a range of client deliverables and accounts.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Providing day-to-day support on all types of editorial projects

Providing accurate and timely database management and support (Datavision, iEnvision, Veeva, etc)
-
Ensuring that quality control is paramount across all materials produced by OPEN Health
-
Collaborating with appropriate members of the OPEN Health team (medical & scientific, client and creative services) on a wide range of projects
-
Ensuring awareness of editorial processes, such as booking and briefing of work, and estimated timelines/budgets for all job types

Flagging potential time or budget issues and out of scope work as required to line manager or resource coordinator

Developing an understanding of various therapy areas and client brands
-
Keeping abreast of all relevant industry guidelines

Participating in internal status meetings, and external meetings where required

Participating in brainstorms and internal team discussions

Submitting accurate and timely timesheets
Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Motivation, passion and dedication

Educated to degree level in Life Sciences or English Language

Very good attention to detail

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to liaise and build relationships with multiple stakeholders

Good time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Basic competency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe

Basic database competency (eg Datavision, iEnvision, Veeva) desirable

Basic understanding of the purpose/aims of healthcare marketing/communications
