Job Summary:
Our Senior Research Analysts within Strategic Market Access are responsible for delivering high-quality evidence synthesis projects, with a primary focus on systematic and targeted literature reviews. They play a key role in designing, conducting, and interpreting literature reviews, synthesising complex evidence into clear, client-ready insights, and supporting broader market access deliverables such as HTA submissions, value dossiers, and publications. Senior Research Analysts are expected to work independently on defined workstreams, contribute to methodological rigour, and ensure high standards of quality across all deliverables.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Evidence Synthesis
- Designing and conducting systematic, targeted, and structured literature reviews
- Developing search strategies, writing review protocols (aligned with PRISMA/Cochrane standards)
- Leading study screening (title/abstract and full text) and ensuring consistency across reviewers
- Extracting, analysing, and synthesising data from multiple sources
- Interpreting findings and translating evidence into clear, structured outputs
- Performing quality control and ensuring methodological rigour across all stages of the review
- Summarising findings in reports, slide decks, and client-ready deliverables
Scientific Writing & Communication
- Drafting and revising scientifically accurate, fully referenced deliverables including:
- Literature review reports
- Value communication materials
- Publications (abstracts, posters, manuscripts)
- Synthesising complex data into clear, concise narratives using both text and visuals
- Supporting publication development and contributing as an author where appropriate
Broader Contribution
- Supporting HTA submissions and market access deliverables through evidence synthesis
- Contributing to proposal development and business growth activities
- Supporting more junior team members through informal guidance and quality review
- Maintaining and managing reference databases (e.g. EndNote)
- Keeping up to date with developments in literature review methodology and evidence requirements
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g. public health, epidemiology, health economics, life sciences)
- 2–4 years of experience in evidence synthesis, healthcare research, or market access
- Strong experience conducting systematic literature reviews (including database searching and protocol development)
- Understanding of HTA and payer evidence requirements
Key skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (client-facing experience preferred)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly in data extraction and synthesis
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific information clearly
- Strong scientific writing skills with a focus on accuracy and clarity
- Proactive and able to manage multiple priorities independently
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams
Technical skills
- Familiarity with systematic review methodologies (PRISMA, Cochrane)
- Experience with reference management tools (e.g. EndNote)
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with literature databases (e.g. PubMed, Embase)
- Experience with literature review software (e.g. DistillerSR, NestedKnowledge)
Working model
- Hybrid working (India – Bengaluru or Mumbai, 2-3 days in office)
- Collaboration with global teams across UK, EU, and US
Travel Requirements
- Up to 10% of potential global travel
