HRIS Specialist – Success Factors

Reporting to: Head of People Operations

 

Location: Remote India

 

The Opportunity

The HRIS Specialist is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the HR Information System, with a focus on SAP SuccessFactors. This role provides in-house technical and functional support across key modules including Employee Central, Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Compensation, and Performance & Talent.

 

The position plays a critical role in driving data-driven HR decision making, ensuring high-quality HR data, and delivering meaningful reporting, analytics, and insights to support business and HR strategy.


Key Responsibilities

 

HRIS Administration & Support

  • Provide in-house technical and functional support for SAP SuccessFactors modules including:
    • Employee Central (core HR data)
    • Recruiting & Onboarding
    • Performance & Goals
    • Learning Management
    • Compensation

 

  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide first and second line support to HR users and stakeholders.
  • Maintain system configuration and support system updates, testing, and releases.
  • Partner with IT and external vendors for system enhancements and integrations.

 

System Optimization & Improvements

  • Identify opportunities to enhance HR processes through system configuration and automation.
  • Support implementation of new features, modules, or system upgrades.
  • Ensure system configurations align with HR policies, processes, and compliance requirements.

 

HR Data Management

  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy, integrity, and governance across the HRIS.
  • Perform regular data audits and validation checks.
  • Support data migration and system integration activities when required.

 

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and analytics using SuccessFactors reporting tools.
  • Provide data-driven insights to HR leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Analyse workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support strategic decision-making with workforce metrics and predictive insights.

 

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, L&D, Compensation teams, and HR leadership.
  • Provide training and guidance to HR users on system functionality.
  • Translate business requirements into system and reporting solutions.

 


Candidate Profile – (Skills, Competencies and Experience)

 

HR Functional Expertise

  • Strong understanding of HR processes including recruitment, performance management, talent management, and compensation.
  • Experience in HR data management, governance, and compliance.
  • Knowledge of HR system implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.

 

Technical / System Skills

  • Experience working with SAP SuccessFactors modules.
  • Configuration management and role-based permissions administration.
  • Experience with Analytics and reporting tools.
  • Strong data analysis capabilities using Excel and reporting tools such as Power BI.
  • Experience with HRIS integrations with other HR or ERP systems.

 

Data & Analytical Skills

  • Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret HR data and generate insights.
  • Advanced analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform data analysis and reporting to support HR decision-making.

 

Business & Stakeholder Skills

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct business analysis and translate HR requirements into system solutions.
  • Experience supporting user training and system adoption.

 

Problem Solving & Process Improvement

  • Internal customer service mentality
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
