Job Summary
The Finance Director will report directly to the SVP, Finance Director and lead financial management, reporting, controlling, and budgeting across key U.S. business areas including PromoMed, Patient Engagement, and Ascel Health. As a strategic finance partner, they will provide real-time insights, challenge assumptions, and support decision-making to drive performance. This role requires strong financial expertise, commercial acumen, and effective communication, along with a commitment to integrity and compliance. The FD will also contribute to the FP&A function, supporting strategic decisions at various levels.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Building strong partnerships with senior leaders across PromoMed, Patient Engagement, and ASCEL, acting as a trusted financial advisor and key point of contact to support, challenge, and enable effective decision-making
- Leading the budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processes in collaboration with business stakeholders and Group Finance, ensuring robust financial plans that reflect operational realities and strategic goals
- Ensure consistency and regulatory compliance for all revenue forecasting and recognition across the practice
- Managing regular financial review meetings, presenting performance updates, forecasts, and variances, while promoting financial understanding among non-finance colleagues
- Delivering timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting and analysis that connects business performance to strategic objectives, highlighting risks, opportunities, and key drivers of variance
- Effectively manage the controllable working capital position of the Practice by being aware of client contracts and payment obligations and minimizing days sales outstanding
- Manage the reporting and analysis of Timesheet Compliance, Client/Product profitability, Fee Recovery and Staff Utilization reporting across the group by educating groups
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of finance processes, tools, and reporting standards, ensuring alignment with wider Finance initiatives and company objectives
- Collaborate with and lead practice-based Controller during the annual audit process by providing recognition rationale and addressing audit-based queries

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
- 10+ years of financial experience within a global company along with relevant qualifications
- Understanding of private equity or public company environments is helpful, though not essential
- Experience leading or supporting teams, with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style
- Confidence in using Microsoft 365 tools, such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams, in a professional setting
- Familiarity with financial systems, such as SAP or similar ERP tools, with a willingness to learn new platforms
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts in a clear and approachable way to colleagues across different functions
