Business Development Coordinator, E&A

Location: UK Remote

Job Summary:

The Business Development Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and conversion of new business opportunities. Working closely with the Business Development Directors and Senior Leadership teams, you will coordinate commercial activities, manage client engagement processes and ensure the smooth execution of requests for information and proposals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

External Business Administration (60%):

  • Coordinate the preparation and submission of high-quality proposals and Statement of Work
  • Support the COE Leads in drafting Statements of Work for project amendments as and when required
  • Lead the completion of Requests for Information (RFIs) with support from the COE leads and relevant teams  
  • Supporting submissions and updates across client procurement platforms (e.g. Ariba, Scientist, Coupa, SAP, Jaggaer)
  • Assist in preparing client presentations, capability statements and marketing materials
  • Identify new E&A contacts of interest across key accounts
  • Execute tailored outreach campaigns to engage with new contacts and set up introductory meetings
  • Coordinate client meetings, follow-ups and contract documentation
  • Support networking activities, conferences and industry events as required

Internal Business Administration (40%):

  • Support the COE Leads and BD Directors in maintaining and updating Salesforce systems to ensure accurate pipeline tracking and reporting
  • Develop and maintain client specific, disease specific and service specific track records to be easily included in proposals, pitches and capability statements with support from Knowledge management team.

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in life sciences, public health, business, health economics, or a related field
  • Strong interest in developing a career in business development within the healthcare and life sciences sector
  • Customer service experience or other roles that demonstrate the ability to engage with clients, understand needs, and deliver solutions
  • Experience in business development, commercial, or sales role (nice to have)
  • Relevant experience working in HEOR and market access in the pharmaceutical industry or consulting (nice to have)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated motivation to learn, contribute, and grow within a client facing and commercial environment
  • Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to the growth of the organization’s offerings and services
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail
