Associate Scientist – Strategic Market Access – Value Communications

Location: Remote US

Our Associate Scientists are essential contributors to our value communications team. They enjoy working across various projects and are responsible for delivering high-quality outputs. They support project leads in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary, global organization, focusing on developing, writing, and managing evidence dossiers and other strategic deliverables in the US and globally and engaging in local and global market access deliverables. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drafting scientifically accurate, fully referenced project deliverables, including dossiers (AMCP, core/global value), value stories and propositions, value decks, objection handlers, publications (abstracts, posters, manuscripts), reports, etc., appropriate to the target audience and under the guidance of senior team members
  • Managing day-to-day tasks and activities for project deliverables
  • Leading project calls and managing project financials to ensure scope, timelines, and budgets are on track under the guidance of senior team members
  • Researching medical topics using relevant information sources
  • Conducting and/or guiding and mentoring junior consultants on value communications and evidence synthesis projects and performing quality control of project deliverables
  • Assisting with requests for proposals and supporting the growth of the business through the development of strong client relationships under the guidance of senior team members
  • Keeping up to date with the latest developments in the field
  • Contributing to thought leadership and publications

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Strong scientific understanding (MD, PharmD, or PhD preferred) or Master’s degree in health policy, public health, health services research, health administration, health economics, or any other related sciences
  • Minimum of 3-4 years experience in Healthcare Research and Market Access or related field.
  • Excellent writing skills and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality written materials
  • Experience writing/managing AMCP Dossiers, with a good understanding of the types of evidence included in each dossier section, is a must
  • Experience with contributing to value communication projects, such as GVDs, value proposition development and testing, objection handlers, payer communication tools
  • Experience in the development of visually focused value slide decks, PIE Decks, GVDs/CVDs, and other types of value communication deliverables
  • Proactive, responsive, and able to balance shifting priorities to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to budget, ensuring that expectations are exceeded
  • Ability to forge and effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Team player, but also able to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Advanced proficiency in EndNote and MS Office programs: Word, PowerPoint

Travel Requirements 

  • 10% potential global travel
