Job Description:

Associate Consultant-Strategic Market Access

 Location: Germany Remote

Job Summary

As an Associate Consultant – Strategic Market Access, you will contribute to a broad range of activities that support our clients in navigating the evolving European access and pricing landscape. While a key focus will be developing health technology assessment (HTA) dossiers for national and joint evaluations, your role will also extend into broader Market Access and pricing strategy projects. These may include supporting price negotiations, early scientific advice, Phase III planning, real-world evidence generation, and payer insight initiatives.

Working as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team, you will help shape value-driven strategies that inform decision-making across the product lifecycle. This role offers the opportunity to engage with complex data, dynamic health policy environments, and a variety of therapeutic areas — all in service of improving patient access to innovative treatments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Developing HTA dossiers for key European markets (e.g., G-BA/AMNOG, EU JCA, NICE), while supporting broader Market Access objectives by contributing to pricing strategy and reimbursement planning, particularly where price negotiations are pivotal
  • Conducting HTA landscape assessments and supporting strategy development
  • Conducting evidence synthesis and contributing to value communication projects
  • Demonstrating a strong interest in the German healthcare system and pharmaceutical landscape
  • Familiarizing yourself with new topics in a structured and independent manner, while actively expanding and sharing knowledge
  • Engaging with clients in a confident and proactive manner, supported by strong communication skills and a reliable, solutions-focused working style
  • Researching disease areas, treatment pathways, and clinical evaluations using various databases
  • Contributing to external communications, including content for social media and thought leadership

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Master's Degree, PhD, or PharmD in any relevant science, such as Pharmacy, Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Health Economics, Health Policy, Epidemiology, Public Health, or Statistics
  • Contributing to evidence synthesis projects, including systematic and targeted literature review
  • Demonstrating interest in HTA, Market Access, and the broader pharmaceutical landscape
  • Showing familiarity with regulatory frameworks and drug pricing dynamics across Europe
  • Bringing hands-on experience in medical, statistical, or technical writing, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, structured deliverables to support pricing, access, or evidence communication
  • Contributing to the development of value communication tools, such as global value dossiers, value propositions, objection handlers, and payer communication materials
  • Communicating fluently in both German and English, verbally and in writing
  • Applying strong analytical skills and attention to detail in your work
  • Collaborating effectively within teams while also being comfortable working independently
  • Demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office programs: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
