Job Summary
Our Associate Market Access Consultants support pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies in developing and executing payer strategies that optimize product value, pricing, and reimbursement across key global markets. In this role, you will work on projects covering global payer strategies and value communications. You are responsible for supporting project delivery, ensuring the timely and profitable delivery of high-quality market access deliverables.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Supporting clients in developing their payer strategy development, market access planning, evidence gap analysis, value propositions, pricing & reimbursement analysis, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration
- Supporting, taking ownership, and accountability of content delivery on client project and business development opportunities for Strategic Market Access
- Supporting client engagement throughout the project's delivery and ensuring that the client objectives are met to achieve positive outcomes
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of global payer requirements and pricing & reimbursement frameworks in UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and the US
- Ensuring profitable and timely delivery of high-quality market access projects
- Contributing to the achievements and annual targets
- Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all project activities
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
- Good knowledge of global payer systems, HTA processes, and pricing frameworks in global healthcare environments
- Experience working in a market access consultancy
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, relating to product development, approval, marketing, and continued lifecycle management
- Basic clinical knowledge and experience across a range of specialties
- Experience in primary payer research and developing payer engagement materials and payer strategies
- Ability to analyse and synthesise clinical, economic, and real-world evidence to support value demonstration
- Experience in developing payer engagement materials, value propositions, and payer strategies
- Excellent time management, project management, and presentation skills from inception through to delivery
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field
- Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills for report development, presentations and payer discussions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external stakeholder engagements
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is a must.
- Fluency in an additional language e.g. French, German, Japanese, is a plus but not required
